Schmitt & Co has been in the storage business since 1978 when we developed our first facility.  Now our focus is exclusively as a storage management company, offering self storage management services to other owners as well as those properties we own.  Our management services will increase the profitability of your property thus improving its asset value.  With over 30 years of professional storage property management experience, Schmitt & Co has a proven record of maximizing an owner’s return on investment.

Based in Novato, California, Schmitt & Co serves the northern California area.  Our staff, pictured above, is a well qualified group of very competent people from varied but related backgrounds.  Our management services provide a full turnkey operation. We offer our clients much more than the average self storage management company in that we are experts in storage marketing which includes accomplishing online exposure through internet marketing.

We currently manage 12 storage properties in the greater Bay Area with one in Boulder, CO representing 600,000 net rentable square feet totaling $9.3 million in gross income. We do have the capacity to take on more properties at this time.

Our self storage management services will provide independent owners the time needed to focus on other business interests.  We are available to help lenders and investors with troubled properties or REOs, just give us a call.
